I grew up in Teaneck, New Jersey, where I went to Whittier School, Benjamin Franklin Junior High School, and Teaneck High School. My first girlfriend was from Teaneck. So was my second. One of my brothers even married a girl from Teaneck! The place gets to you. Teaneck's two claims to fame: The first school system in America to voluntarily integrate its public schools, and home to the Isley Brothers.
